All Inclusive Resort Room Types Explained

So you are looking to book an all inclusive resort but don’t know which room type is the best? There are many things to consider when booking a room at a resort. Are you looking for oceanfront, Oceanview, Swim Up….it can definitely get overwhelming with all the different options! Read on as we breakdown three of the most popular type of rooms.

Oceanview Room:

This is often confusing to people as it can be mixed up with an oceanfront room. Oceanview means that you can see the ocean from your room but it could be a small and obstructed view and your building could be several buildings away from the ocean. This room category is most often less expensive than the oceanfront rooms.

Oceanfront Room: This means that your building is one of the closest buildings to the ocean and you have a clear, unobstructed view. With many large resorts you may still be a bit away from the beach but you are still going to have a clear and unobstructed view of the ocean.

Beachfront Rooms: You won’t see this option at all resorts but if it is an option it’s one I highly recommend! Beachfront rooms are just like they sound, on the beach. You’ll be able to walk a few steps from your door to the beach.

Swim up Rooms: Swim up rooms are another popular room category. This means that you will have access to a pool right outside your door. I do always warn clients that this pool is not your own private pool and anyone who is also in a swim up room can swim by your patio at any time. Many people still love the convenience of these rooms even if you do risk losing a bit of privacy.

Private Pool rooms: Again, you won’t aways see this option but it’s definitely an appealing choice if it is available! This means that you room has it’s own pool! Of course don’t expect it to be large, it’s often about the size of a hot tub but it is still very private if you are looking to seclusion!
